Stop Press: OLS Suspension

As Nuba Vison goes to press we learn of disturbing developments regarding the suspension of Operation Lifeline Sudan Southern Sector in the wake of a government flight ban in South Sudan.

This is clearly going to cause massive disruption to aid operations in coming months and may also jeopardise the arrangements in place governing the Nuba cease-fire.

Both OLS and JMC work in Nuba Mountains, will be treatened by the government ban fron the south. Even if the flight bans are lifted it will have severley dented confidence.

Nuba Vision urges immediate international action to prevent the peace process from becoming derailed.
